Kanthalloor is a destination where people come to slow down, experience the mountains and reconnect with nature. For a resort in such a setting, architecture cannot feel disconnected from its surroundings. The A-frame character of Monarch Inn Resort is naturally suited to this environment, creating a form that sits comfortably within the landscape while opening the interiors towards the surrounding views. This is where Green Interio Fusion’s contribution becomes an important part of the project. Across the resort, glass, aluminium, interiors and fabrication were brought together to create a contemporary stay experience without losing the visual relationship with nature. Green Interio Fusion executed the aluminium windows, fixed glass, frameless glass doors, modular furniture and roofing sheet works, contributing across both the architectural envelope and the interior spaces.
About the Project
When an A-Frame Becomes a Window to Nature
The identity of Monarch Inn is strongly connected to its A-frame architecture and expansive glass openings. Instead of treating the building as a closed structure placed within nature, the design uses glass extensively across the openings, allowing the surrounding environment to remain visually connected with the interior. The side openings, overhead glazing elements and aluminium windows work together to bring openness into the cottages while maintaining the distinctive A-frame form.
Green Interio Fusion’s role extended beyond individual glass installations. The project brought together glass works, aluminium systems, modular interiors and fabrication as part of one coordinated execution. Across six A-frame cottages and 18 rooms, the interiors were developed with a modern design approach, while the glass and fabrication elements helped maintain a consistent architectural language throughout the resort.

For Monarch Inn, Green Interio Fusion handled multiple elements across the resort, allowing the team to work on both the building envelope and the guest interior experience.
Aluminium Windows
The aluminium windows form an important part of the resort’s connection with its natural surroundings. Their clean architectural appearance complements the A-frame structure while creating generous openings towards the outside.
Fixed Glass Works

Frameless Glass Doors

Green Interio Fusion’s involvement covered architectural glass, aluminium windows, frameless glass doors, modular furniture and roofing sheet works, allowing different elements of the resort to work together visually.
The project also included interior works and MS fabrication, extending Green Interio Fusion’s contribution beyond the visible glass surfaces. This integrated approach helped create continuity between the architecture, interiors and functional elements of the resort.
