Architectural glass work by Green Interio Fusion at Aura 42 by Dimora in Munnar, featuring panoramic glass glazing and valley views.

Green Interio Fusion brings premium glass design services in Kerala to hospitality projects like Aura 42 by Dimora in Munnar. Working in a location like that changes how you approach a project. The Munnar valley isn’t just scenery in the background — it’s basically the entire reason guests choose to stay there. So our whole approach had to protect that view while still making the resort feel genuinely premium inside.

Why This Project Needed a Different Mindset

Most resort projects, you’re building an identity from scratch. Here, the identity already existed — it was the valley itself. Our job wasn’t to compete with that landscape or distract from it. It was

figuring out how architecture could work alongside something that’s already stunning without getting in its way.

That’s a harder balance than it sounds. You still need the resort to feel premium, still need the glass works to carry that luxury weight guests expect. But you can’t let any of that overshadow the reason people are actually there. Every decision we made came back to that one question — does this let the valley stay part of the experience, or does it block it out?

Panoramic Glass Glazing Was the Centerpiece

The panoramic glass glazing became the defining feature of the whole project. When your location is built around a valley view, you need glass surfaces that are big enough and clear enough to actually establish that visual relationship between what’s happening inside the resort and what’s sitting right outside it.

But this wasn’t just about giving guests something to look at. The whole intention went further than that. We wanted a genuine sense of openness — where the natural surroundings don’t feel separated from the spaces at all. They just flow into each other. That’s what makes the valley feel like an actual part of the guest experience instead of just a nice view from a window. There’s a real difference between glass that shows you a view and glass that makes you feel like you’re part of that view. We were aiming for the second one throughout this project.

Glass and Design Details That Match the Premium Setting

Alongside the glasswork, we handled several design zones across the property, and each one needed its own approach.

The bedroom design mattered most for the private guest experience. This is where comfort and refinement had to work together — guests spending the night need a space that feels genuinely comfortable, but it still needs that polished character you’d expect from a premium resort. We didn’t want anything that felt generic or like a standard hotel room. Everything needed to carry that same sense of quality running through the rest of the property.

Dining extended that same luxury feeling into a space where the surrounding destination becomes part of the meal itself. Eating somewhere like Munnar shouldn’t feel disconnected from where you are. The dining spaces needed to keep that connection alive, letting the destination remain present even during something as simple as a meal.

Lobby spaces carry a different kind of weight. This is the first real interaction point for every guest arriving at the resort. Whatever impression forms in those first few minutes sets the tone for everything after. So the lobby design needed to create that refined transition — moving someone from wherever they came from into the full resort experience without any jarring shift.

Handling the Smaller Glass Details

We also executed shower glass partitions throughout the property. Small detail in the grand scheme of things, but bathroom design gets noticed by guests staying at premium properties. These partitions needed functional separation, obviously, but they also had to maintain that same clean, contemporary visual language running through every other glass application in the resort. Nothing about it could feel disconnected from the bigger design story.

Exterior works rounded out our scope here. This tied the architecture back into its relationship with the surrounding landscape instead of leaving the building looking like something dropped into Munnar without any real connection to where it actually sits.

Where Nature and Luxury Actually Meet

The whole idea driving Aura 42 comes down to this relationship between luxury and landscape. A lot of resorts treat the surrounding environment as background — something pretty to glance at occasionally. We didn’t want that here. The approach was letting the valley become part of the actual experience rather than staying a distant backdrop nobody really interacts with.

Our work across the architectural glass solutions supports exactly that philosophy. The valley view stays visually open throughout the property. The glass works still feel genuinely premium. And every individual space contributes to one cohesive resort experience instead of feeling like separate rooms stitched together.

What This Project Means For Us

Aura 42 gave us another chance to bring together our architectural glass expertise, design solutions, and precise execution — specifically for the hospitality sector. We work across residential, commercial, corporate, hospitality, retail, healthcare, education, and aviation projects throughout Kerala and South India, and every hospitality project like this one teaches us something new about matching design decisions to the actual environment they’re going into.

At Aura 42 by Dimora, luxury isn’t something contained inside four walls. It opens outward, toward the valley — and honestly, that’s exactly how a project in a place like Munnar should feel.
